Here are some of Heather’s highlights during her time here at Santa Clara.

SCU Ambassador Program

Blog Heather 1.png

“This is from when Ambassadors were playing cards and hanging out at the Hut after Preview Day. Over the years it's become a special tradition. I’ve had the best time giving tours since freshman year as well as forming friendships with the other ambassadors! Whether family points or assassin games, there are so many memories I’ve made with this team.”

Study Abroad in Rome

“Outside the Coliseum. I studied abroad in Rome and loved every minute of it! I visited 10 countries in total but Rome will always be the nearest to my heart.”

Outdoor Painting Class

Blog Heather 3.png

“Painting at Vasona Park (near Los Gatos) for my Outdoor Painting class. The past four years I’ve gotten to appreciate so much of the nature around campus through painting field trips, Into the Wild excursions (kayaking, white water rafting, hiking…you name it), and drives through the foothills with friends.”

Running the Heart and Soles 10k

Blog Heather 4.png

“Running the Heart and Soles 10K with friends! When I started college I had almost no running experience, and I ended up training with my friends and running at 10K every spring!”

If you could give your freshman self one piece of advice, what would it be?

“Take time to explore new areas of study, you might discover an interest that you didn’t know existed!”

Message from admissions: Heather, you have done such a wonderful job during your time at admissions! Your expertise during tours as well as your infectious enthusiasm will be remembered and missed. We are so proud of you. Rooting for you as you begin your post-grad journey :)

Congratulations Heather and the rest of SCU Class of 2026! Go Broncos!
