Associated Student Government

“Planning ASG’s Annual retreat was one of the highlights of my time at SCU. What started as a weekend dedicated to welcoming new members quickly became an opportunity to build meaningful connections, and many of the people I met that weekend have since become some of my closest friends. Looking back, it’s a memory that perfectly captures the sense of community that made my SCU experience so special.”

Roommate turned lifelong friend!

“Being randomly assigned to live in Sobrato with a girl named Ava sophomore year turned out to be one of the best surprises of my time at SCU. What started as a roommate assignment quickly became a friendship built through late-night conversations, shared experiences, and countless memories. Looking back, I feel so lucky that someone who was one a complete stranger is now one of my best friends.”

Getting involved together.

“I met Claire through clubs on campus, and what started as a friendship soon grew into a partnership I never could have predicted. After spending time together and discovering how well we worked as a team, we decided to run for Student Body President and Vice Presidnet. Taking on that challenge together became one of the most rewarding and memorable parts of my SCU experience.”

Exploring California!

“Coming to California from Kansas City was an adventure in itself, but getting to experience it alongside John made it even more special. Since we were both so far from home, we spent our time exploring new places, taking road trips, and making the most of everything California had to offer. Some of my favorite SCU memories are the adventures we shared and the way we turned an unfamiliar place into a home away from home.”
