For the 2023-2024 academic year, the SCU Accounting Advisory Board convened in October 2023, January 2024 and in May 2024 (a joint meeting with the Alumni Board).  The Advisory Board leadership consists of Lindsey Piziali, BSC ‘02,  who is the President of the Advisory Board, and Jack Lazar, BSC ‘87, who is the Board Vice President.

The board discussed how to better prepare our students with data analytics and interview skills. Planning was conducted with the various board committees:  Recruiting Committee, Curriculum Issues Committee, Events Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, and the Coordinating Membership Committee.  The Advisory Board Development and Fundraising Committee researched long term goals about more involvement with SCU alums and donors. The committees are working on being consistent with the Leavey School of Business “Leavey PLUS” priorities (Partnerships; Leadership; Unifying Purpose; and Sustainability).
