Resume Optimization

JobScan Premium, a resume optimization tool, is now available to all current GBP students. This tool compares your resume with a job description and provides suggestions to better customize your resume to help land an interview.

Current students can check out the platform and create a new student account on Jobscan using their scu.edu email address. If you are an existing Jobscan user, as long as you have an active SCU.edu email ID and are using it to access Jobscan, you can get SCU's upgrade to Premium at no charge to you. Existing Jobscan users (with your SCU.edu email ID) will need to (re)verify their Jobscan account to get the auto-upgrade to Premium --- Login and go to Account Settings > Login & Security > Change > Resend Email

One-on-One Career Coaching Appointments: Career Coach appointments are made within CAREER+.

CareerLeader Assessments: CareerLeader is the premier business self-assessment tool used in graduate business programs around the world. This integrated tool provides robust report that clarifies your skills, interests, and motivators. Contact gbpcareers@scu.edu to get access to CareerLeader.

Break Into Tech Linkedin Masterclass: Taught by former Linkedin employees, the "Land Your Perfect Job With LinkedIn" masterclass provides students with step-by-step instructions on how to maximize the reach of their LinkedIn profile and excel at using LinkedIn during the job search process. Free for GBP students.
