What aspect of your fellowship has been most rewarding?
Before this fellowship, I shared the common belief that an individual’s voice rarely matters in government decisions. However, my time working at the local level completely shifted that perspective, showing me that meaningful change simply starts with paying attention and showing up. Responsible citizens are the cornerstone of a thriving community, and I've learned that civic engagement can be as straightforward as reading local news, volunteering, or building relationships with neighborhood business owners. Moving forward into my professional life, I want to ensure that business remains both personal and impactful. Inspired by the idea of doing direct, purpose driven work, I aim to serve as a trusted advocate for my clients and customers focusing on understanding their distinct needs and working closely with them to solve problems and uplift the community
