The Credit Investment Club is an organization designed to help students learn about fixed-income, private credit, and the credit finance world as a whole. We take students threw a series of short lectures, resume building, interview prep, and much more!
I was fortunate enough to discover the credit space early in my college career, and when I returned to campus, I realized that recruitment for these roles was already underway, while many SCU students had little visibility into the opportunities available to them. SCU teaches foundational financial concepts at a strong and rigorous level, but the Credit Investment Club creates a space to go deeper—to connect classroom material with the more technical, nuanced aspects of credit, and to build meaningful professional relationships. Credit is a challenging field to break into; it’s complex, specialized, and often under-explained. Forming this club felt overdue as a way to bridge that gap and give SCU students the access, clarity, and preparation they deserve.
What I enjoy most is watching students gain confidence in a concept that will shape both their career opportunities and their personal financial decisions for the rest of their lives.
