Why Enlivening Prayer?
Like the disciples, we yearn to know how to pray. People will ask for our prayers. Have you ever said yes to a prayer request and experienced doubt about how to pray—a loss for words? Or have you longed for greater depth in your life of prayer? Do you want to enter more deeply into the Church’s tradition of “praying without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17)?
About our Workshop Leaders (guides)
Our guides for these workshops are members of Santa Clara University's faculty and staff from the Religious Studies and Pastoral Ministries programs. Each guide has been invited to help provide a deeper connection to a particular prayer experience, in ways which invite participants to both to grow in their comfort of prayer and recognize how important it is as an integral part of our daily living.
Who should attend?
All are welcome! As we encounter life events - our focus on prayer can help with the journey. For those who catechize other, in addition to personal enrichment, our hope it to provide new ways to foster linkages between prayer and daily living. Each workshop stands alone. Register for one, or for all you plan to attend.
