A bomb threat is a verbal, written, or electronic message claiming that an explosive device has been placed in a specific location. These threats may be delivered via phone calls, emails, social media, letters, or other communication channels. While some threats are hoaxes, every bomb threat must be taken seriously to ensure the safety of individuals and property.
Bomb threats are often intended to cause fear, disrupt operations, or test emergency response procedures. If a bomb threat is received, it is critical to remain calm, gather as much information as possible, report the incident to authorities, and follow established safety protocols.
