Dr. Claire Wemp is a Lead Application Engineer working at DuPont's Silicon Valley Technology Center. Her role involves creating and executing advanced thermal testing techniques to support a wide range of Bay Area customers in their thermal application needs. Dr. Wemp leverages her background in mechanical engineering to operate in the thermal management space, where she has accumulated over a decade of experience. Prior to her employment at DuPont, she worked at Google designing thermal solutions for data center servers and worked on two-phase liquid cooling for her doctorate degree at UC Berkeley. She was a recipient of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Rising Technical Contributor Award in 2022, a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow from 2014-2017, and recently served as the Treasurer for the Santa Clara Valley SWE Section. Dr. Wemp welcomes the opportunity to be more involved in shaping the growth and opportunities of students at Santa Clara University through her involvement in the Industry Advisory Board.
