Younghyun Cho

Assistant Professor

Younghyun Cho is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Santa Clara University (SCU). Before joining SCU, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, for three years. He received his Ph.D. from Seoul National University in 2020.

His research focuses on computer systems and performance tools for parallel and high-performance computing. He is currently focusing on (1) performance tuning, optimization, modeling, and tools for software and hardware (2) infrastructure and resource management challenges, and (3) optimization techniques for quantum circuit simulations and synthesis.

Younghyun Cho is leading the Systems & Performance Research Lab at Santa Clara University.
