Tanya Monsef is a Dean’s Executive Professor at the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business. With a 25-year career that spans high-tech corporate, entrepreneurship, social impact, non-profit leadership, and academia. She possesses a real life grasp of the high-stakes pressures and rapid-pivot demands that today’s executives face in the real world. By bridging academics with her own extensive experience, she offers a sounding board for leaders who need to cut through complexity and take decisive, meaningful action. She bridges academic rigor with the high-velocity, innovative culture of Silicon Valley, providing expertise in strategy, finance, and cross-cultural leadership to help individuals and organizations navigate complex challenges.

Tanya has worked with leaders from some of the world’s most innovative organizations, including Google, Meta, Genentech, and NetGear. Her global influence is evidenced by her delivery of leadership programs to executives from over 40 countries, including significant initiative with the Gates Foundation. She believes that deep listening, clear strategy, and the intentional leadership drive performance.

For the past two decades, Tanya has been a dedicated advocate for the advancement and economic empowerment of women. She is a founding coach for the Women’s Startup Lab and is the former Board Chair for the Global Women’s Leadership Network. She is committed to fostering cultures of trust, creativity, and impact through her service as an advisory board member for the My Own Business Institute, the Women in Education Leadership (WEL) Foundation, Readability Matters, and the Santa Clara University Board of Fellows.
