24-25 Peer Advisors

  • Addison is graduating in 2026, majoring in Biology and Environmental Science with a minor in Public Health. While Addison is considering both a Pre-Vet and Pre-Med path, Addison has interests in health care ethics, emergency medicine, and public policy. At Santa Clara, she is a Peer Health Educator, the Co-President for HPPA, the Co-President of Santa Clara Sunrise, and an EMT with SCU EMS. She also works as a Student Researcher with Dr. Sandel. Her work experience includes working as an EMT with SCU EMS, as a volunteer with SVACA in their Medical Center, and as a Veterinary Nurse at Brookfield Vet Hospital. Outside of the classroom, Addison enjoys crocheting, baking, thrifting, and hiking.

  • Yeseñia is graduating in 2026, majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Biotechnology. Following the Pre-MD/PhD path, Yeseñia has interests in neonatal care, sports medicine, and intensive care. At Santa Clara, she is involved in HPPA as the Co-President, is in the University Honors Program, and is a Health Care Ethics Intern with the Markkula Center of Applied Ethics. Her work experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Brunauer’s lab and as a past Research Intern at Stanford School of Medicine. She is also a licensed EMT. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys cooking, baking, hanging out with friends and exploring new food.

  • Jeni Deneen is graduating in 2026, majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Biology. Following a Pre-PA track, Jeni is interested in OB-GYN and Fertility medicine. At Santa Clara, she serves as the Operations Chair for HPPA and is a member of Rho Psi Eta. She is also currently working as a CF for Residence Life. Her work experience includes being a Research Assistant in a developmental neurobiology lab and as a lab technician at a fertility clinic. Outside of the classroom, Jeni enjoys watching movies, trying new foods, and taking care of her plants.

  • Karis is graduating in 2026, majoring in Neuroscience with minors in Biology and Gerontology. Following the Pre-Med path, Karis has interests in anesthesiology and surgery. At Santa Clara, she is one of HPPA’s PR chairs, does research with the Brain & Memory Care Lab, works at the Office Accessible Education (OAE), and is a Healthcare Innovation and Design Fellow. She has completed research at Lewis & Clark College, and also volunteers at Stanford Hospital. Outside of the classroom, Karis enjoys cooking, skiing, hiking, and reading.

  • Joshua is graduating in 2026, double majoring in Biology and Public Health Science. Following the Pre-Med path, Joshua has interests in ophthalmology, dermatology, and PM&R. At Santa Clara, he is HPPA's Co-Public Relations chair, works at the Library Help Desk, is in the University Honors Program, is an Honors Advisory Council Class Representative, and is an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Brian Bayless' Biology lab. He is also an EMT with SCU EMS. Outside of the classroom, Joshua enjoys hiking, eating, cooking, sports, and laughing.

  • Tosei Milholland is a dedicated Pre-Med/Pre-PA student graduating in 2026 with a major in Biology and a minor in Public Health Science. His primary medical interests lie in internal medicine and anesthesia. Tosei is involved on campus as a general chemistry peer educator, biochemistry lab TA, and Drahmann tutor, as well as conducting biochemistry research with Dr. Brunauer. He also serves as the Experiential Chair for HPPA. His professional experience includes working as a medical assistant, volunteering at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, serving as a clinical translator for the SF Free Clinic, and working as a licensed EMT. Outside of academics and healthcare, Tosei enjoys eating, cooking, sleeping, playing basketball, and listening to music.

  • Justina is graduating in 2025, majoring in public health with a minor in biology. Following the pre-dental path, Justina has interests in orthodontics, general dentistry, and sports medicine. At Santa Clara, she is involved in Be the Match, the SCU Sports Medicine Department, a Delta Epsilon Mu, and is a Public Health Peer Advisor and General Chemistry Lab Assistant. She worked as a sterilization and administration assistant at Wayne Hane D.D.S. and Olson Dental. Outside of the classroom, Justina enjoys listening to music, lifting, and eating good food.

  • Maria is graduating in 2026, with majors in Neuroscience and Public Health. Following the Pre-Med path, she has interests in emergency medicine and healthcare ethics. On campus, Maria is involved in research with Dr. Kirsten Read, is the Quality Assurance Officer of SCU EMS, and is also a Healthcare Ethics Intern. She works as a Hemodialysis Technician outside of school. Maria also has experience working as a Pharmacy Technician and as an EMT for M Health Fairview. Outside of the classroom, Maria enjoys baking, thrifting, and riding her bike.

  • Annie is graduating in 2027, majoring in Public Health Science, with minors in Spanish and Biology. Following the Pre-Med path, Annie has interests in pediatrics, OB/GYN, and cardiology. At Santa Clara, she is involved in Run Club and Delta Gamma. Her work experience includes working in the OSU Medical Research Lab, volunteering at St. John’s Hospital, and other non-profit work experience. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys running, cooking, and artwork.

  • Sydney is graduating in 2025, majoring in Biology and Public Health with minors in African American Studies and Medical and Health Humanities . Following the Pre-Med path, Sydney has interests in Health Ethics, Public Health, Primary Care, Health Law, and Pediatric Medicine. At Santa Clara, she is a Cofounder and President of the Black Pre Health Student Association, a Honzel fellow in the Markula center, a student ambassador, a neighborhood representative, the Associate Director for SCCAP, and a member of Delta Epsilon Mu. Her work experience includes being a Research Assistant in a Microbial Epidemiology lab, having a grant writing internship at a research hospital, as well as gaining community health experience . Outside of the classroom, Sydney enjoys reading and board games.

  • Amalia is graduating in 2027, majoring in Public Health Science with a minor in Biology and Spanish. Following the Pre-Med path, Amalia has interests in dermatology, pediatrics, women’s health and outreach education. At Santa Clara, she is involved with the Belles and has been a Peer Educator for the Anthropology Department. She has worked as a volunteer for Children’s Hospital Colorado, shadowed doctors and nurses at a pediatric clinic, and has worked for Kiehl’s as a skincare consultant. Outside of the classroom, Amalia enjoys movies, music, and trying new foods.

  • Kimberly is graduating in 2027, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Following the Pre-Pharmacy track, Kimberly has interests in pharmacology and drug development. At Santa Clara, she is a member of Delta Epsilon Mu and is a General Chemistry Lab Assistant. Her work experience includes volunteering at Huntington Hospital and a summer research program at Keck Graduate Institute. Outside of the classroom, Kimberly enjoys doing ballet, playing piano, and baking.
