Review Policy

Materials in the Library are selected to support the instructional and research needs of the Santa Clara University community according to this Collection Development Philosophy. A patron who would like to file a request to review a Library resource must complete and submit a written form. The request will be reviewed by the Assistant Dean for Collections & Scholarly Communication and the relevant subject librarian. Together, they will develop a recommendation that will be submitted to the Dean. The Dean has authority for making the final decision in accordance with the Library's policies and procedures. The item in question will remain available during the review process. The patron will receive a final written response to the submitted request within 90 days of the Library receiving the request.
