Senior Staff Selection Process
Applicants for the Senior Staff position will go through the Senior Staff selection process, which includes 2 main parts: the application and an individual interview via Zoom.

Key dates in the 2025-2026 Senior Staff selection process include:
- Thursday, December 12, 2024: Application opens at 5:00 PM
- Tuesday January 16, 2025: Application due by 9:00 AM
- January 23 - 24, 2025: Individual Zoom Interviews (by invitation)
- Friday, February 7, 2025: Final notifications sent via email by 5:00 PM
- Friday, February 14, 2025: Candidate acceptance materials due at 9:00 AM
Senior Staff members, Assistant Resident Directors (ARDs), assist Professional Staff members, Resident Directors (RDs), and serve as a member of a community Leadership Team. Senior Staff help to implement a student development program that reflects the Jesuit mission of the University, namely the development of the whole person. Senior Staff contributes to the overall development of the community by assisting with the academic and personal growth of residents and student staff members by promoting and supporting an inclusive environment in which differences are thoughtfully explored.
Additionally, Senior Staff members are expected to know and uphold University policies, procedures, and community standards, effectively respond to and manage emergency/crisis situations via participation in a campus-wide duty rotation, work collaboratively to build community, mentor student staff, and role model responsible citizenship, on and off-campus.

The application is the first step in the process of becoming a Senior Staff member and includes demographic information, a resume, and reflection questions.
Candidates will be asked to provide a professional resume describing your educational background, leadership experience, community involvement, volunteer, and work experience. Candidates are encouraged to include specific accomplishments and goals achieved that relate to the nature of this position.

Within the application, candidates will be asked to preference up to four communities where they feel their skills and experiences would be best utilized and where they would be most successful as a Senior Staff member. Each of the selected communities will require a written description of why you feel it is the best fit for you.
