| December Campus News We wish the best to all students as they wrap up the quarter and semester. Be kind to yourself and use the services that we have on campus to help you destress through finals - the Malley Center is open with academic hours through Wednesday, Dec. 11 and then we begin reduced hours Thursday, Dec. 12 - Friday, Dec. 13 (see below for times) & it is FREE - come by and grab a basketball to dribble around, or walk on the treadmill - just 10 minutes is all you need to help recenter and focus. Additionally, CAPS 24/7 has free access to the Headspace app for all students - download it and use one of the meditations to calm your brain.
We wish you the best again on finals and hope you all have a fantastic holiday break. We are excited for your return in January - some weight room changes will be coming your way see below for another teaser about that.

| Many of our outdoor fitness facilities will remain open throughout the winter break. All outdoor facilities are only open to current students, faculty, and staff - sorry, no spouses, or guests. Behind the Malley Center we have an outdoor ping pong table, and a functional fitness area with climbing rope, pull-up bars, plyometric boxes, and other functional fitness equipment. Additionally, the beach volleyball courts, outdoor basketball court, and the Bellomy Field running track will remain open throughout Winter Break. |
| Bellomy Field will undergo grooming and field lining over Winter Break. The field will be closed Monday, December 16, through Thursday, January 2. The field will reopen Friday, January 3 for recreational use. Please note if there are no activities scheduled the field lights are not programmed to come on and the field will close at dusk each day before Club Sports practices resume Monday, January 6. |
| We are excited to have weights in the Multipurpose Room for you to use. We have 3 pairs of 2.5 - 20 lbs (sorry we are missing the 3rd pair of 17.5 right - the box had one 15 and one 17.5!). We will be adding more pairs as we determine what the use is for the weights in this new spot. |
| We're adding additional platforms to the heavy side of the weight room! Due to this project, the heavy side will close early on Friday, December 13 starting at noon to move all the equipment from this area. We apologize for the inconvenience in your work out that day but know when you are back in January the additional platforms will be appreciated. |
| This past quarter has been a successful one for Intramural Sports with 875 participants, 740 unique! We have crowned 2 of our league champions, and both of our tournament champions, and would like to congratulate them all and thank all the participants!
