Welcome to SCU! The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team is excited to support the setup and operation of your new lab. To help the EHS department understand your research plans, please submit a completed SCU EHS New Pl Survey and Guide. Understanding your lab activities will also allow us to anticipate the engineering controls, other facility/utility needs, as well as evaluate the appropriateness of the lab space(s) assigned to you.
The new PI packet also includes a brief guide introducing you to key lab safety policies at SCU.
After the form is submitted, EHS will reach out sometime within the first quarter of your arrival on campus to meet in person at your new lab space so we can get to know you and your EHS needs at SCU.
