Organizations in Santa Clara Valley that need your help!
By helping one, we help all!
We had signed up to help at each of these organizations in April but needed to cancel due to the pandemic. They all work together and are in great need of canned goods and hygiene supplies. Any help we give will be much appreciated! Please visit the agency websites below for more information and ways you can help.
- Santa Clara University Food Pantry
Access to funding is available through the Office of Student Life for students who are experiencing food insecurity - the lack of reliable access to sufficient quantities of affordable, nutritious food.
- Recovery Cafe
Recovery Cafe San Jose is a healing community for those traumatized by addiction, homelessness, and mental health challenges. They are in severe need of canned goods to help serve their community. We were planning on making lasagnas during April, but this is a way you can help instead!
- Loaves & Fishes
Loaves & Fishes provides hot nutritious meals that are prepared, delivered and served to hungry and homeless low-income families. SCU held four lunch and hygiene assembly events for Loaves & Fishes, and we were planning on hosting two in April. They are still in need of and allowing in-person volunteering as well as canned goods.
- Second Harvest Food Bank
Distributes healthy food, including fresh produce, through a network of 310 nonprofit partners at 1,000 sites. Donate food or your time!
- Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County
