3-Point Thursday
- Starting in Showbiz: Malarie ’14 and Nia Howard ’15 tapped into the SCU network through their competitive climb to creative success in Hollywood, aided by professor Michael Whalen '89 and Bronco alumni. Now, Malarie helps shape the path for others by serving on the same advisory board that springboarded her career.
- Broncos Helping Broncos: Join more than 5,000 members of the SCU community on Switchboard, a free tool where you can ask for what you need or offer what you have to give within a trusted network. - High Flyer: Congrats to Col. Edwin Oshiba ’88, who was named the new Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force, after a 26-year career as an Air Force officer. He recently earned the prestigious 2023 Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Service, which makes sense given that he can sum up his career “... in one word: service.”
Go Broncos!
P.S. Day of Giving is only a week away (April 10), and our faculty and staff are ready to share what makes SCU special to them. Need some inspiration on something to support? Consider the SCU Mascot Bench that will be built in front of your Bannan Alumni House!
