• Judged On Her Own Merits: All rise for Jaya Badiga J.D. ’08, who was recently appointed by Gov. Gavin Newson ’89 to serve as a judge on the Sacramento County Superior Court. Since 2022, she’s served as a commissioner at the same court. Way to go, Jaya!
  
  
• On the Ball: Golden State Warriors standout Brandin Podziemski ’25 recently earned 2023-24 NBA All-Rookie First Team honors. How did he find out? A personal video message from two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash ’96, of course. 
  
  
• Going with the Flow: Injuries are a part of sports… but do they have to be? Nick Cmager ’23, M.S. ’24 is trying to prevent muscular maladies caused by improper form. He’s designing a system of microfluidic sensors that track how a muscle is engaged during an athletic movement. A network of these sensors can provide a whole host of information!
