The Spirit of the Law

We recently lost Edward Panelli ’53, J.D. ’55, Hon. ’86, a leader and member of the University’s Board of Trustees for 60 years. An Air of Mystery

Get ready for an exciting literary adventure with the Alumni Book Club! The reading period for “Glory Be” by Danielle Arceneaux runs through Oct. 4. Follow amateur sleuth, Glory Broussard, through her hilarious escapades, then discuss online with fellow alumni. 

The Final Stretch

Three inspiring finalists were announced for the 2024 Opus Prize: Cătălin and Bianca Albu, Zachariah Presutti, S.J., M.Div. ’21, and Francisca Ngozi Uti, H.H.C.J. The Opus Prize laureate will be announced at a Nov. 14 ceremony on SCU’s campus and will receive $1 million for their organization. The other finalists will receive $100,000 each toward their respective efforts.

Another Adventure Begins

After 45 years, Paul Rose ’79, the head coach of Jesuit High School’s soccer program, has announced his retirement. He leaves behind an incredible legacy of 918 wins, two national and eight regional titles, and four National Coach of the Year awards.
