Telehealth/Teletherapy Spaces

With the launching of CAPS 24/7 and the increase in teletherapy offerings, we know it can be challenging to find a private space for a therapy appointment. There are multiple spaces available on campus for this purpose.

Wellness Rooms are private single use spaces on campus and are drop in only (no reservations permitted). Students looking to use these spaces should arrive early to ensure the space is available and bring a sign to post that the room is being occupied and include the end time on the sign. A simple post-it or 8x11 sign is sufficient. Each space also has a white noise machine to ensure greater privacy. If using the noise machine, please unplug it before leaving the room.

Wellness Rooms include:

  • Guadalupe Hall 227
  • SCDI 3309

In the Cowell Center (please call to reserve the space ahead of time):

  • Wellness Room

Other spaces on campus include:

The Learning Commons has 26 rooms that can be booked up to a week in advance. Room booking information is available via the Learning Commons. Please note you have to press "Start" on the kiosk on the door when you arrive. If not, the reservation will be canceled 10 minutes after the start time and someone else could book the room.

Locatelli 211 is a drop in space. Students can let the front desk staff know they’d like to use 211 without sharing any additional information. Please be sure to comply with any additional signs on the door to 211 about other students who may have reserved this room in advance for certain dates and times.

Campus Safety Services is also offering their conference room. You can walk into Campus Safety and ask to use this space. This space is not reservable, but is oftentimes available.

Students are also welcome to use classrooms, study rooms, or any other available private spaces within the residence halls. These spaces are not reservable. Students looking to use these spaces should arrive early to ensure the space is available and bring a sign to post that the room is being occupied and include the end time on the sign. A simple post-it or 8x11 sign is sufficient.

If other building managers would like to identify spaces and have them added to this list, they can do so by emailing cowellcenter@scu.edu.
