Ken Goldman is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Yahoo!. In this role, he is responsible for Yahoo!'s global finance functions including financial planning and analysis, controllership, tax, treasury, and investor relations. Prior to Yahoo! Mr. Goldman served as the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Fortinet, Inc., a provider of unified threat management solutions.
From November 2006 to August 2007, Mr. Goldman served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Dexterra, Inc., a provider of mobile enterprise software. He served as senior vice president, finance and administration, and chief financial officer of Siebel Systems, Inc., a provider of customer software solutions and services (which was acquired by Oracle Corporation in January 2006), from August 2000 to March 2006. Prior to August 2000, he served as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Excite@Home Corporation and Sybase, Inc. He has also served as chief financial officer of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation and VLSI Technology, Inc.
Mr. Goldman serves on the board of directors of BigBand Networks, Inc., Infinera, Inc., Starent Networks Corp. and several private companies. Mr. Goldman served on the board of Juniper Networks, Inc. until his resignation in January 2008. He is currently on the board of trustees of Cornell University and was recently a member of the Treasury Advisory Committee on the Auditing Profession, a public committee that made recommendations to encourage a more sustainable auditing profession. He was a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board Advisory Council from 2000 to 2003.
Mr. Goldman earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University in 1971 and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1974.
