Siqi Li

Dr. Siqi Li is a Professor of Accounting in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. She joined the accounting faculty in the Fall 2008 after she earned her Ph.D. from University of Southern California.
Dr. Li's scholarship focuses on the role of accounting information in global capital markets, corporate governance, and financial disclosure. Her research has been published in leading academic journals, such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of International Business Studies, Review of Accounting Studies, and Contemporary Accounting Research. Dr. Li serves on the editorial boards of The Accounting Review, Journal of International Business Studies, and Journal of International Accounting Research. She teaches managerial accounting at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Born in China, Dr. Li received her B.A. in International Finance from the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing. She received her master's degree in the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS) from the University of California, San Diego.
