Susan Parker is an Associate Professor in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University.
Dr. Parker’s teaching and research interests are mainly in the field of auditing. Her research has been published in Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Contemporary Accounting Research and other journals. Some of the topics addressed include the determinants of audit fees and the effect of various corporate governance mechanisms (primarily audit committees) on the financial reporting practices of public companies. She received a doctorate in Accounting from the University of Oregon in 1997.
