Victoria Wenxin Xie is an assistant professor at Santa Clara University. Her research combines applied econometric techniques and quantitative spatial modeling to understand 1) the impact of climate change and environmental policies on firms, cities, and aggregate economic outcomes. 2) various sustainability issues using remote-sensing and other multi-disciplinary tools. Victoria received her PhD in economics from University of California, San Diego, her MPhil in Economics from Oxford University and her BBA in Global Business and Economics from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
