The Leavey School of Business social media brand guidelines are designed to help faculty, staff, students, and partners represent the school consistently and professionally across digital platforms. A strong and unified presence on social media strengthens the Leavey and Santa Clara brands, builds recognition, and supports engagement with our community.
These guidelines provide best practices for messaging, visual identity, tone of voice, logo usage, and platform-specific standards to ensure all social media content reflects the excellence, innovation, and values of the Leavey School of Business.
Leavey Logo
Logo consistency is important because it leads to brand recognition. When prospective/current students and/or alumni recognize our brand (and have positive associations with it), they're more likely to keep engaging with us for the long term.
Within the University's logo system, Leavey uses a Tier 2 unit lockup. Units and departments within the School are instructed to use Tier 3 unit logos.

Color Palette
Color palette branding is a tangible component of our brand, whether it's Santa Clara University and/or Leavey School of Business, which is what people notice first and foremost. The branded colors actually increase brand recognition by up to 80 percent.
Find color codes, as well as Accessible Brand Color Combinations, in the University's Design System.

Typeface
The University's typography embodies our voice and communicates our identity at first glance. When these carefully selected typefaces are used consistently, we are able to uphold the integrity of our core values and brand presence.
