Dr. Yu-Wei Lin joined the Information Systems & Analytics (ISA) department of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University in September 2022.
Dr. Lin’s research interest lies in machine learning in healthcare decision support and empirical research on social justice and racial diversity. His current research investigates how social movements and public policies can lead to meaningful changes in public responses to racial inclusion initiatives and improvements in online labor benefits. Dr. Lin has been invited to present his research at major information systems (IS) conferences, such as CIST, ICIS, CHITA, HICSS, etc. His works have been published in major health informatics journal and under review in leading business journals.
Dr. Lin received Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Gies College of Business. He earned a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas and a master’s degree in Technology Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He holds his bachelor’s degree in Information Management from National Taiwan University.
