Ramnarayan is a Lecturer in the Department of Marketing at Santa Clara University. She has experience teaching undergraduates, graduates, and conducting executive level seminars. She has developed and taught a variety of courses such as Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Research during her academic career.
Ramnarayan’s experience in the industry spans big and small companies, including at the Gartner Group, a high technology research firm where she managed the Digital Media research program. In this role, she advised corporate executives and venture capitalists. In addition, she has served as a board member at non-profit organizations and as a consultant to technology companies.
Dr. Ramnarayan’s research work is at the intersection of data, technology, and marketing, in keeping with her industry experience. Dr. Ramnarayan has been awarded various research grants and is a 2021-22 Fulbright Scholar. Her most recent published work includes a chapter in a book titled “Marketing and AI: Personalization at Scale” and a book on “Fundamental Data Analysis in R for Market Research.” She received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Delhi and her Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Oregon.
