Sanjiv Das receives Harry Markowitz Award

SCU’s Sanjiv Das (Finance and Business Analytics) and Dan Ostrov (Math) were awarded the 2018 Harry Markowitz Award presented by the Journal of Investment Management.

Sanjiv Das, William and Janice Terry Professor of Finance and Business Analytics, has won the 2018 Harry Markowitz Award with colleague Dan Ostrov, professor of mathematics and computer science. This award is granted to the best paper published by the Journal of Investment Management in 2018 as voted by the Associate Editor Board with the final selection made by the Advisory Board’s Nobel Prize Winners.
