Seoyoung Kim, assistant professor of finance, was featured in an episode of Marketplace where she spoke about investing in distressed assets. The episode aired on 13 other radio stations nationwide.

“[Distressed assets] are things that will come very cheap, because there’s a high likelihood that you could lose all of your money,” she said in the segment, “but there’s also that chance that you may hit a very huge payoff in the end.”
