Faculty Advisors for Undeclared Students
Your Leavey Advising Team
A team of trained business students, knowledgeable about Leavey and university core requirements, can show you how to use Santa Clara's many advising resources, assist with course planning and selection, and answer questions regarding your undergraduate and major requirements.
Each first-year student is assigned an individual Peer Advisor. Sophomores are not assigned a specific peer advisor but can choose a Peer Advisor they would like to meet with based upon their interests.
Faculty Advisors are great resources and can serve as mentors for students in the field of business as it pertains to graduate school, research and career development. They can also assist you with curricular planning.
Faculty Advisors for Undeclared Students can guide undeclared first-year or sophomore students in major discernment, academic difficulties, professional development, and more.
Major Faculty Advisors are assigned once business students declare a major during their sophomore year. A student’s faculty advisor is their primary resource for information and assistance on academic policy, curricular planning, and program choice.
The Drahmann Center provides Santa Clara undergraduate students with holistic academic support and connection to intellectual disciplines that lead to meaningful futures.
Leavey students may find the Drahmann Center helpful for tutoring, declaring multiple majors, disabilities resources, and more.
The Career Center provides career coaching and expertise to all Santa Clara University students. Visit the Career Center to explore job prep tools such as Handshake, Big Interview and VMock to activate more of your internship search skills.
