Why did you apply to the ACE Program?
I was drawn to the idea of being a part of a group of likeminded, ambitious students in the business school. I wanted to grow my network and learn from older ACE members about professional skills, internship search, and how to make the most of my Santa Clara education.
What other organizations are you a part of?
- VP of Finance and incoming president of Alpha Kappa Psi
- Co-founded Women in Investment and VP of Service
- Business ethics research assistant, currently helping Dr. Shanklin write a book on business ethics
- Alpha Sigma Nu
Summer Plans:
This summer, I will be working at Amazon as an Operations Finance Intern. In this internship, I will be expected to drive both business and financial decisions, as well as take ownership of an individual intern project. The summer after my freshman year, I worked as an administrative intern at Priority Floors, a flooring company in my hometown. The next summer, I interned abroad in Dublin, Ireland at Dataships, a data privacy company. This was such an incredible experience that I highly recommend if studying abroad during the school year does not work for your schedule!
What is one thing you are looking forward to this upcoming school year?
I am really looking forward to starting my position as president of Alpha Kappa Psi this spring!
