My favorite part of the program is the opportunity to be surrounded by hardworking and enthusiastic students who motivate me to go out of my comfort zone and grow personally and professionally.What has been your favorite Leavey Scholars class and why?
My favorite Leavey Scholars class was OMIS 108S with Professor El Hajj. He challenged us to think outside of the box through intellectual discussions and group work. I enjoyed our real-world project where we studied the operations management of an actual company in person and gave suggestions on how to improve it.

As part of the course, we were required to engage in several career conversations, which helped me feel more confident in initiating coffee chats with employees during my internship.

FNCE 121S has been my favorite because the professor is not only knowledgeable but also brings real-world insights that go beyond the textbook. Their ability to connect theory with practical applications makes the learning experience engaging and relevant.Did Leavey Scholars classes help in any way with your internship/interviews?
Yes, the Leavey Scholars classes I've taken so far have provided me with critical thinking skills and real-world insights drawn from the professors' professional experience. Also, taking those courses is a remarkable opportunity to bulid connection with distinguished professors and excellent peers.

The Leavey Scholars Program fosters a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where everyone feels comfortable contributing and asking thought-provoking questions. The discussions are intellectually stimulating and help me develop my critical thinking skills.What has been your favorite Leavey Scholars class and why?
OMIS 108 with Professor Hussien, he had enthusiasm and passion for the subject, making the class enjoyable and engaging. The group project I worked on with graduating seniors was also valuable experience.

I enjoy the more free structure of the classes. I feel that it leaves open a lot of room for discussion within the class.What has been your favorite Leavey Scholars class and why?
I quite enjoyed MGMT 80S, because we had the opportunity to teach economics to children in the community.
