What are you doing this summer? I worked a rotational program between advisory, audit, and tax to understand KPMGs business processes.
Hopefully you’ve grown both professionally and personally from this summer experience. Name one or two “life” lessons you learned and will carry forward after graduation. Always ask questions. It’s okay to be lost. By asking questions, you find out that many other people are just as confused and you get to find answers together.
What has been the most memorable part of your experience? I had a lunch with an audit partner where I got to listen to her talk about valuable life experiences and her journey at the firm. I learned a lot and I look up to her.
What advice would you give to younger students who are searching for summer opportunities?
During your interview, be yourself. Don’t be afraid of rejection. Show the company they have things to learn from you.
