What are you doing this summer? I supported the administration of large credit funds at Alter Domus. I was responsible for managing cash accounts and associated record keeping.
Hopefully you’ve grown both professionally and personally from this summer experience. Name one or two “life” lessons you learned and will carry forward after graduation. Always try to do everything to the best of your ability even if you do not see immediate value.
What has been the most memorable part of your experience? I really enjoyed working downtown in a big city. Being able to commute, go out for team lunches, and get to know the other interns was a very fun experience.
What advice would you give to younger students who are searching for summer opportunities? Summer opportunities are not easy to get, and there will be plenty of rejection along the way. Making sure you stay determined even in the face of adversity is difficult, but it is invaluable when searching for a summer or full time opportunity.
