What are you doing this summer? I gained hands-on experience in analyzing financial data, managing inventory, and streamlining supply chain processes. It was a great opportunity to learn how finance and operations intersect in a manufacturing environment.

Hopefully you’ve grown both professionally and personally from this summer experience. Name one or two “life” lessons you learned and will carry forward after graduation. One key lesson I learned was the importance of effective communication across teams, especially when managing cross-functional projects like finance and supply chain. I also realized the value of staying adaptable. Things don’t always go as planned, but being able to pivot and think on your feet is crucial in both professional and personal life. These skills will definitely help me navigate future challenges and collaborations.

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? The most memorable part of my summer experience was working closely with the supply chain team to optimize inventory management. I got to see firsthand how small adjustments in processes can lead to significant improvements in efficiency and cost savings. It was incredibly rewarding to contribute to something tangible and see the impact of our efforts.

What advice would you give to younger students who are searching for summer opportunities? My advice to younger students is to start early and be proactive, don’t hesitate to reach out to companies or professionals in your field of interest. Focus on building relevant skills and keep your resume updated. Most importantly, be open to learning from any opportunity, even if it's outside your comfort zone.
