Summer Analyst

Finance Major

What are you doing this summer? I was part of the ABP/AHL Fellowship Program at JPMorganChase, where I worked under the Corporate Analyst Development Program. Over the summer, I led a team on a case study exploring how AI can be used to make community banking more inclusive, efficient, and customer-focused. I also got to attend workshops and networking events that gave me a better feel for the company’s culture and the different career paths within JPMC.

Hopefully you’ve grown both professionally and personally from this summer experience. Name one or two “life” lessons you learned and will carry forward after graduation.  I learned that being proactive, whether it’s speaking up, taking the lead, or staying engaged, can really shape your experience and help you climb the corporate ladder. I also came to appreciate the value of continuous learning, mainly in an environment where there’s always something new to take in.

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? The most memorable part was my first week in New York, getting to know the city, connecting with other fellows, and building relationships with people across the firm.

What advice would you give to younger students who are searching for summer opportunities?
Don’t compare yourself to others, everyone’s path is different. Focus on what interests you and stay curious.
