What are you doing this summer? I took Drawing on Location and Marine Biology abroad in Sorrento Italy. I have also been studying for my AWS certification.
Hopefully you’ve grown both professionally and personally from this summer experience. Name one or two “life” lessons you learned and will carry forward after graduation. Independence is amazing but you can’t grow and learn without being disciplined. I will keep this idea in mind whenever I am learning a new skill, like cloud computing, or a hobby.
What has been the most memorable part of your experience? I got it meet so many people in different parts of the world. The times we spent studying and learning from each other was so amazing.
What advice would you give to younger students who are searching for summer opportunities?
Talk to as many people as you can and talk about your career goals. You can find connections everywhere. And be disciplined in your craft; get 1% better everyday.
