What are you doing this summer? This summer I have the opportunity to work alongside audit professionals. I was given daily tasks that ranged from simple excel assignments to creating tasks for other professional through EY’s program.
Hopefully you’ve grown both professionally and personally from this summer experience. Name one or two “life” lessons you learned and will carry forward after graduation. Take the time to understand a project and learn how to do it more efficiently even if it takes more time, so that the next time is faster.
What has been the most memorable part of your experience? The most memorable part was the intern celebration at the end of the internship. We all played games against each other with other interns and even staff and partners. This was an amazing opportunity to meet and connect with so many people.
What advice would you give to younger students who are searching for summer opportunities? Start as early as possible. Even if it’s for a year out internship it is way better to start early and learn all you can about the different opportunities.
