What are you doing this summer? Strategy Intern - Ernst and Young Parthenon, Mumbai. I was responsible for interpreting data and analyzed metrics to determine the current market structure, market stage, consumer demographics, sales trends and growth drivers for clients in the packaging, food, and retail industry in India. Next, I conducted primary research and presented quantifiable data about store metrics and shelf-space allocation to assist the senior leadership on the market expansion strategy of a large skincare company.

 

What has been the most memorable part of your experience? The ability to offer help on additional projects and asking a lot of questions made me comfortable to learn more about topics that I did not have a lot of understanding about. Additionally, I kept track of the tasks I had accomplished during my 8 week internship which made me happy given that I was able to working in a professional setting and navigate the working world through hands-on experience.
