"I’m excited to be spending 8 weeks in Kigali, Rwanda, working with Jibu, a social enterprise that expands access to clean water while empowering local entrepreneurship across East Africa. I’ll be working alongside my partner, Cece Fox-Middleton, as we research how Jibu can modernize its point-of-sale system. I highly recommend that all interested rising Leavey juniors apply for the Miller Center Fellowship for Summer '26. Not only do you gain hands-on experience working with a profitable, impact-driven business, but the fellowship also offers a transformative leadership experience. All transportation, lodging, and living expenses are covered by Santa Clara University, and each student receives an additional stipend for their summer work."

"This summer, as a Miller Center Fellow, I will be working with my partner, Orion Cook, with Husk Power, which is a Social Enterprise in Mumbai, India. Husk works to bring reliable, renewable, and affordable power to rural areas in need through mini-grids fueled by a combination of solar and biomass gasification. We’ll be learning from and working with the Husk team and beneficiaries of the company to determine how to best serve them as we work to further the mission of this incredible enterprise."

"I am honored to have been selected as a 2025 Miller Center for Global Impact Fellow and am excited to take part in an action research project this summer. I’ll be working with Inkomoko, a social enterprise in Rwanda that provides business advisory services and funding to local entrepreneurs, with a focus on refugees and women. I look forward to immersing myself in Rwandan culture and learning from the Inkomoko team alongside my partner, Saron."
