New Leavey Staff Spotlight: Ashley Morello-Bramham
Ashley Morello
Ashley joins us most recently from the University of San Francisco where she served as an Academic Success Coach in the Center for Academic and Student Achievement. She has also taught several courses to support student success and learning through a First-Year Seminar and College Success Strategy Course. Additionally, Ashley worked in the USF Department of Athletics as the Director of Academic Support where she worked with student-athletes to monitor academic and career goal success. With a BA in History and Demography with a minor in Studio Art (Pitzer College), an MA in Sports Management (USF) and completing her EdD in Organizational Leadership (USF), Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge and academic advising experience to provide expertise and strategic vision for this area.
Ashley is passionate about the combination of hands-on advising coupled with the utilization of technology to support overall student achievement. On the personal side, Ashley was a four year member of the NCAA DIII, Pomona-Pitzer Softball Team, enjoys gardening, baking, hiking, and volunteering for the Special Olympics. Her bucket list includes visiting all National Parks, traveling to Greece, seeing all of the MLB stadiums, and learning how to dirt bike. Her favorite quote is “It always seems impossible until it’s done” -Nelson Mandela.
