Venture Capital Investment Competition
SCU participates in Global Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC), the world’s largest venture capital competition. With over 70 universities competing, VCIC is the only place where students get to be VCs for the day in a role-playing competition. Our SCU teams compete against other schools in the region and are judged by who is the most prepared and well thought out VC firm.
Who should compete at VCIC?
Each school can send one five-person undergraduate team and one five-person graduate team per year. Each team will also have one alternate.
What if I don't know much about venture capital or investing?
No problem, VCIC is a great way to learn. You can visit the VCIC website for video tutorials and other resources to bring your team up to speed. Or attend one of our prep sessions prior to the competition!
