HIGHER EDUCATION
Brian is a member of the Santa Clara University faculty and staff. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Leavey School of Business, an Industry Advisor at the Leavey Sustainable Business Institute, and a Program Director at the Ciocca Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

CORPORATE MANAGEMENT
Previously, Brian was a cross-functional business executive at Equinix, where he was the Chief of Staff to the CEO and Vice President of the Strategy, Finance, and Sustainability functions. During his fourteen-year tenure, the company invested $19B in organic builds and M&A, grew revenues from $200M to $6B, expanded EBITDA margins from 32% to 48%, and increased its market capitalization from $700M to $40B, leading to its inclusion in the S&P 500 Index. Additionally, it maintained an 85% employee engagement score and raised renewables' share of energy consumed from 34% to 92%.

INVESTMENT BANKING
Before Equinix, Brian was a well-traveled investment banker with Citi in London, Singapore, New York, and San Francisco. Over nine years, he was part of teams that advised Technology, Health Care, and Consumer Products clients on over $5B in M&A and capital market transactions. They included ALI Technologies' sale to McKesson, SignalSoft's IPO, Nestle's purchase of PowerBar, the Carlyle Group's buyout of Dr Pepper 7UP bottling assets, National Vision's bond offering, Oetker's acquisition of Kart Food, and Intel's divestment of Unico, Varitronix, and Shinca.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Brian's academic pursuits centered around development policy in emerging markets. He earned an MPhil in the Economics and Politics of Development from the University of Cambridge and researched economic, political, and social aspects of trade liberalization in India.
