Ciocca Center’s Bronco Ventures Demo Day 2023 featured 24 of the most promising startup founders from Santa Clara University who took the stage to showcase their game-changing innovations to an audience of nearly 400 that included hundreds of Angel and Venture Capital investors. Chris Norris, Executive Director of Ciocca Center welcomed visitors and President Julie Sullivan opened the afternoon, emphasizing the importance of supporting Broncos-led startups that bring Jesuit values to industry. U.S. Representative Ro Khanna (CA 17th District) presented Bronco Ventures Accelerator and Ciocca Center with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition. Morgan Slain, Director of Bronco Ventures, led the evening as our audience witnessed ground-breaking solutions from our founders across various industries including tech, health, sustainability, and more. For the founders’ part, their presentations signified the culmination of 14 weeks of hard work positioning their ventures to be investment-ready. A networking reception followed where founders mingled with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors had the opportunity to further discuss the startups with the founders in hopes to discover the next unicorn.
