UCCE Programs
The programs listed below belong to the University Consortium for Catholic Education (UCCE). UCCE members complete graduate coursework at their respective universities to develop their capabilities as competent Catholic educators. They also spend two years serving as educators who contribute to promoting and enriching their Catholic school communities. We've highlighted 3 UCCE programs below, but you are welcome to learn more about other programs at the UCCE site.
- ACE Teaching Fellows
During their two-year fellowship, ACE Teaching Fellows serve as full-time teachers in under-resourced Catholic elementary, middle, and high schools while earning a cost-free Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame. They complete their work and service while living in intentional Christian communities of 4-8 ACE Fellows in our 34 sites across the country. ACE graduates go on to pursue excellence in many different fields - education and otherwise - upon their completion of the fellowship.
- Excellence in Catholic Education and Leadership
Through generous support of the Sobrato Foundation, ExCEL members work as teachers for TK-12 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Monterey and the Diocese of San Jose, while also living in community with one another and taking coursework at Santa Clara towards earning a state teaching credential and Master of Arts in Teaching.
- Partners in Los Angeles Catholic Education
PLACE Corps members earn a master's degree and teaching credential while serving as full-time teachers in primarily under-resourced Catholic schools in Southern California.

The Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries at SCU seeks to transform hearts and lives through the engagement of theology and ministry for competence, conscience, and compassion in accompanying others. There are currently two emphases available along with the general MA degree with no emphasis. All Fall quarter classes will be taught online only.
