Peace Corps
Contact: Brianna Maltez
The Peace Corps is a two year service opportunity for motivated changemakers to immerse themselves in a community abroad, working side by side with local leaders to tackle the most pressing challenges of our generation. Volunteers work in one of six sectors: Education, Health, Community Economic Development (Business), Environment, Agriculture and Youth Development. The Peace Corps provides each Volunteer with housing and a living stipend, and upon completion of two years of service, the Peace Corps provides each Volunteer with more than $9,000 (pre-tax) to help with the transition to life back home. The Peace Corps also offers graduate level fellowships to Returned Peace Corps Volunteers.
