Upcoming Retreats

Santa Clara University's Ignatian Retreat is a five-day version of the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius. This dynamic experience features silence and a diversity of prayer practices in a residential setting. Each day will include confidential, individual meetings with a retreat director, more formal presentations made to the group, meals, daily liturgies, and group prayer.

WHERE WILL THE IGNATIAN RETREAT TAKE PLACE?
The retreat will be held at the San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville, CA Saturday, December 14th- Thursday, December 19th, 2019.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE RETREAT?
Spaces for the Ignatian Retreat are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by submitting the form below AND a $200 payment via delivery of cash or check to Campus Ministry or online at: https://commerce.cashnet.com/CampusMinistry

ARE THERE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE?
In Campus Ministry, we are committed to ensuring that everyone who desires to attend a retreat is able to do so. As a result, we greatly subsidize the cost of retreats. If you have a financial hardship that would prevent you from attending the retreat, please email Victor Lemus (Director of Retreats) regarding receiving a scholarship at: vlemus@scu.edu.

Santa Clara University's Relationships Retreat is a weekend of prayer, conversation, and community designed to explore our experience of intimate relationships. Throughout the weekend, with the Monterey Bay as our setting, we'll seek to explore themes such as: connection, freedom, joy, intimacy, commitment, desire, dating, hookup culture, loneliness and otherness. Components of the retreat include group conference talks, group conversation, individual meetings with a retreat director, as well as plenty of time to enjoy the wonders of the sea.

This retreat is not intended to be a couples retreat, but is open to all interested in exploring the matter.

The retreat will be held at the Pajaro Dunes Resort in Watsonville, CA-- February 7-9, 2020.

Santa Clara University's Discover Vocation Retreat is a collaboration between the Career Center and Campus Ministry that will provide students an opportunity to engage in exploration and reflection around discernment of their vocation, career and sense of self - What brings me joy? What are my strengths? What does the world need?  

Student will have an opportunity to:

- Reflect on their own life, values, and interests in community with other peers
- Learn about their strengths via CliftonStrengths
- Engage in reflective exercises around discernment and self care
- Connect with young alumni through a panel and lunch conversations
- Learn from a panel of faculty/ staff who will provide short reflections on their vocational journey
- Engage in small group reflection discussions

WHERE WILL THE DISCOVER VOCATION RETREAT TAKE PLACE?
The retreat will be held in the beautiful Missions Springs Camp in the Santa Cruz mountains! February 21-22, 2020.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE RETREAT?
Spaces for the Discover Vocation Retreat are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis by submitting the form below AND a $40 payment of cash or check to Campus Ministry.

Santa Clara University's Gift of Peace Retreat is a reflective weekend of prayer, conversation and community designed to contemplate the reality of peace in our lives. We will explore the theme of peace through an Ignatian lens, in which we will look at matters of desire, attachment, freedom and fear. Components of the retreat include group conference talks, individual meetings with a retreat director, group prayer, as well as plenty of time to enjoy the wonders of the sea.

WHERE WILL THE DISCOVER VOCATION RETREAT TAKE PLACE?
The retreat will be held at the Pajaro Dunes Resort in Watsonville, CA April 3-5, 2020.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE RETREAT?
