Campus Ministry Events
There are many ways to be involved in Campus Ministry, many of which require you to apply for an opportunity. On this page, you'll find information about each of the open opportunities.

The Campus Ministry (CM) interns are a group of undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about inviting others into the exploration of spirituality. They support the efforts of the Campus Ministry department in comprehensive programming to foster the spiritual lives of Santa Clara students. As student leaders, they are asked to represent the CM department to the SCU community, families, and friends in the office and at key university events.
As members of this program, CM interns gain friendships, personal and professional development, opportunities to get to know other students, faculty, and staff from different parts of the university, and are able to spend significant moments in conversation with peers about things that matter deeply to them.
Our internship program is a key leadership development opportunity in ministry. Applications are now open for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Christian Life Communities (CLC) are small groups of students who gather in community to pray, reflect, and discuss issues of life and faith in order to find our personal vocations.
Here are some questions for reflection in considering joining CLC:
Do you want to...
...form long-lasting friendships?
...grow in your journey of faith?
...share your faith and what is going on in your life with other students?
...deepen your relationship with God?
...discover your passions and calling in life through service?
The Campus Ministry Graduate Assistants are graduate students who are passionate about inviting others into the exploration of spirituality. They support the efforts of Campus Ministry by offering comprehensive programming for all graduate students and for specific graduate programs.
Applications for these positions will take place in April. Watch for emails from Campus Ministry about these positions if you are interested in applying.
The Spirituality Facilitators (SFs) are a group of graduate students who are passionate about inviting others into the exploration of spirituality and know the importance of engaging with questions of meaning making while in college. They support the efforts of the Campus Ministry department by living in community with undergraduate students who live in the residence halls on campus. The SFs offer various opportunities to engage in reflective practices as well as build community with other residents on campus. A signature program of the SFs is weekly hospitality hours which are a chance for students to engage with the SF and enjoy snacks, board games, or whatever your SF is offering. As key leaders on campus, they are asked to represent the CM department to the SCU community, families, and friends in the office and at key university events.
As members of this program, Spirituality Facilitators gain insight into the Residence Life system at SCU, friendships, personal and professional development, opportunities to get to know other students, faculty, and staff from different parts of the university, and are able to spend significant moments in conversation with undergraduate students about things that matter deeply to them.
