Ms. Sims works with adolescents, adults, couples and families as a licensed marriage family therapist in her private practice in Santa Clara, California. She has many years of experience as a psychotherapist and specializes in work with the LGBTQQI community, depression, anxiety, grief, and eating disorders. She is certified by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) as a graduate of the WPATH Global Education Initiative, and is active in numerous consultation groups and conferences, giving many trainings on the topics of gender and sexuality throughout the Bay Area. Ms. Sims has served as a clinical supervisor to therapists in training at the Adolescent Counseling Services OUTLET program and for the YWCA of Silicon Valley. She is a graduate of Stanford University and Santa Clara University.
